Facebook Newsfeed: Get posts from all your friends

If you really want to see all the posts from your friends in the Facebook Newsfeed, you have to make some settings. This is quick and easy to do.

Facebook Newsfeed: get posts from all your friends

Which posts end up in your newsfeed is not decided by you, but by Facebook. The posts are checked for relevance by an algorithm so that you only find out what is supposedly most important. Nevertheless, a lot of information is lost.

  • List: Add all friends, or all important friends, to the Close Friends list. Close friends are preferred by Facebook and should always appear in the newsfeed. To do this, open the profile of the desired person and tap the “Friends” button below the profile picture. Under “Edit friends list”, now select the option “Close friends”.
  • Pages: If you would like to learn more from your fan pages and other liked pages on Facebook, only one thing helps here: clean up. Say goodbye to pages that you liked years ago but have long since stopped following. That way, there’s a better chance that posts from other pages will show up again.
  • Missed Posts: If a post does slip through your fingers, you can still access these posts. Via the Missed Stories link, Facebook will show you all relevant posts that you have not seen. Unfortunately, Facebook has since discontinued this service.
