If you want to pay for Amazon Prime without a credit card, this is possible without any problems. All you need is a current account at a bank that offers the SEPA direct debit mandate. This is standard everywhere nowadays.

Using Amazon Prime without a credit card – here’s how

In addition to paying with a credit card, there are other ways to pay. You can read about which ones here:

  • Log in on the Amazon homepage with your login data. You can find the page by clicking the yellow button in the top right corner.
  • Then click on the “My Account” tab in the right-hand menu list.
  • Now go to the option “My payments” in the menu that is now open. You will see all the cards and accounts you have added. Amazon may now ask you to reconfirm your login details.
  • Now, to add your bank account, click “Add payment method” in the middle at the bottom. In the menu that now opens, select “Bank account for direct debit”. Alternatively, you can also pay by invoice.
  • Here you must now enter your BIC, the IBAN, and the name of the account holder. You will find all this information on the bank card. By clicking on “Add bank details” you now give Amazon permission to debit payments from your account by direct debit.
  • This completes the set-up process and you can now use Amazon Prime without a credit card.
