If you own a TomTom navigation device, you should register with the manufacturer free of charge. This will give you access to many more features that will help you use your navigation device even more effectively.

By registering your TomTom navigation device, you can manage your routes online or contact customer service. Here’s how to register with the manufacturer:
- First open the TomTom website in your browser.
- If you already have a TomTom account, enter your mail address and password here. Otherwise, click on “Create account”.
- Now enter your email address and the desired password twice here. The personal information is optional
- If you do not want to receive newsletters from TomTom, also uncheck “Please keep me informed about news, software updates and current products and services”.
- Finally, click on “Create account”.
Using the TomTom website correctly – tips and tricks
Once registration is complete, you can log in to your account from the TomTom website. Click on your profile in the top right-hand corner and you will have the following options:
- “Account details”: Here you can change your personal data and password.
- “Questions”: This sub-item allows you to contact TomTom Customer Service.
- “Repairs”: If one of your TomTom devices is broken, you can get help here.
- “My orders”: Here you can see your current and past orders with TomTom. Of course, you can browse the store and buy more products via the TomTom website.
- “MyDrive”: If you use MyDrive on your TomTom sat nav, this is where you can manage your routes and view traffic information.
- “MySports”: If you have also set up MySports on your TomTom device, you can access your own workouts here.
