Extra baggage with TuiFly – what you need to know
How much you have to pay when booking additional baggage with TuiFly depends on various factors:
- There is a limit to how much extra baggage you can take with you. With TuiFly you are allowed to take a maximum of five pieces of luggage in total.
- None of the pieces of luggage may exceed the weight of 32 kilograms.
- The best value for your excess baggage is to book directly in TuiFly’s online check-in 48 hours to 5 hours before departure. You can also book your excess baggage online on the TuiFly website beforehand.
- The actual price for excess baggage with TuiFly depends on the fare booked and the region to which your flight is going. The first piece of luggage is also slightly cheaper than additionally booked suitcases.
- You can view the different zones with their respective fares online at TuiFly.
- If you failed to book the extra baggage online in advance, the cost of excess baggage at TuiFly at the airport is 15 euros per 1kg of excess baggage. So for a piece of luggage that weighs 25kg instead of 20kg free luggage allowance, you pay 75 euros.
