If you use Discord, it’s important to verify your account. This will allow you to use the full functionality and protect your privacy
Verify Discord account: Confirm phone number
How to verify your Discord account using your phone number in a few easy steps:
- Start Discord and log in with your credentials.
- Click the gear icon at the bottom left to open the user settings.
- Go to “Phone Number” under “My Account.” Enter your number or change it if it is no longer current. Then click on “Send”.
- Discord will now send you an SMS with a six-digit verification code. A field will now appear on the screen for you to type in the code.
- Click “Next” to confirm your phone number and complete the verification process.
Verify Discord account by email
You can also verify your account by email. To do so, follow these steps:
- Log in to your account again with your credentials and open the settings.
- Click on “Edit” under “My Account” behind the e-mail address you entered.
- Check if your email address is entered correctly. If not, you can change it here.
- Click “Resend Email” to send a confirmation email to your email address.
- Open the confirmation email and click the link inside.
- You will be redirected to a page where you can confirm that you are the owner of the email address you provided. This completes the email verification process.
