You can easily delete unwanted comments on Instagram. You can do this both in the app and via the browser.
Delete Instagram comments in the app
You can easily delete inappropriate comments under your pictures in the Instagram app.
- Open the app and the post you want to remove a comment under.
- Next, tap the speech bubble, which is the comment icon.
- Then click on the three dots at the top right of the screen.
- After that, select the option “Manage comments”. Now you can mark all the comments you want to delete.
- Finally, click on “Delete” at the bottom right.
- You will now be asked whether you really want to delete everything selected. Confirm by clicking on “Delete comment” again.

You can also remove stupid comments via the website.
- First, open Instagram in your browser and sign in with your details
- Then click on either your name at the top right or your profile picture in the left menu column to access your profile.
- Then select the appropriate picture.
- Now go to the unwanted comment and click on the three dots.
- This opens the option “Delete comment”. Select this to remove the comment permanently.
