Import iPhone contacts from SIM card: How to do it

Your iPhone contacts can be imported from the sim card to the device in just a few steps. The most important thing is that the contacts are stored on the SIM card and that the card supports the function.

If the contacts are stored on your sim card, it only takes a few minutes for them to be on your iPhone:

• Insert the sim card into the sim tray of your iPhone. Make sure the sim card format is correct.

• Go to the settings. Here, select “Contacts” ☻ “Import SIM contacts”.

• Your iPhone will ask you where to import the contacts. Select the location for them by following the on-screen instructions.

• Look in the contacts to see if they have been imported after the process is complete.

• Tip: An iPhone cannot store contacts on the sim card. Switch to a new iPhone, make sure the contacts are stored in your iCloud Drive.
