Sharing your AirPods allows two of you to listen to music with another pair of headphones. Here’s what you need to do to make this happen
With these settings, you can share your AirPods
Whether you’re on a date, waiting in line or riding the bus, listening to music together connects.
- To listen to music together, you don’t need any other extras. The only condition is that your heads are not too far apart. You also need a compatible iPhone or iPad with the latest version of iOS or iPadOS and two pairs of compatible AirPods.
- Once your AirPods are connected, tap the AirPlay button in the Control Centre on your iPhone. There you will find the “Share Audio” function.
- The AirPods in the charging case of the person you want to share your music with should be held close to your iPhone with the lid open.
- The second person’s headphones should now appear on your screen. Now tap on “Share audio” again.
- You can also use the Airplay button to end “Share audio” again.
