Commerzbank – how to change your address online
The most convenient way is to change your address at Commerzbank online. Of course, this only works if you already have an account with Commerzbank.
- First, log in to Commerzbank with your user name or subscriber number and your PIN. Then enter your new data in the form “Personal data & change registration address”.
- Finally, confirm the information you have entered by entering a TAN. If you use the photoTAN procedure, you will be shown a graphic which you scan as usual with the photoTAN app or the photoTAN reader. If you use the mobileTAN procedure, you will receive the TAN via SMS.
- Once you have successfully completed the process, the system has saved your details and will contact you in the future about the new address.
- If you wish to disclose personal details, such as a change of name, you will also need to identify yourself using the Commerzbank IDENT app. The Commerzbank IDENT app for Android and iOS is free of charge.
How to change your address at Commerzbank
If you do not want to change your address online at Commerzbank, you can of course also go to a branch of the bank.
- If you are not moving within Germany but emigrating, you must visit a Commerzbank branch. You can only change your address online at Commerzbank if you are not moving abroad
- If you go to a Commerzbank branch, a bank employee will change your address for you. In addition to your account details, you should have your identity card to hand to be on the safe side.
