Widening your jeans at the thighs requires a little physical effort. You’ll also need a bathtub filled with lukewarm water.

  1. Lie down in the bathtub with your jeans on, submerged in lukewarm water.
  2. Leave the jeans in the water for about 10 minutes so they’re completely wet. Then empty the bathtub.
  3. Stay in the tub and stretch the jeans by moving and extending your legs.
  4. Continue doing these exercises until the jeans are just damp. Keep moving, though, until the jeans are completely dry.
  5. Now the jeans should fit perfectly.

    How to Stretch the Waistband of a Pair of Jeans

    1. Button up the jeans you want to stretch and zip them closed.
    2. Stretch the jeans out on the ironing board so that the waistband is stretched as far as possible.
    3. Pour lukewarm water into the spray bottle and spray the waistband until it is completely saturated with water.
    4. Set your iron to the cotton setting and iron the waistband until it is completely dry.
    5. Repeat this process until the waistband has stretched enough for the jeans to fit you.
