To change the format in Canva, you need a Pro subscription. Other options are not yet available
Canva: How to change the format
If you have created a design and want to change the alignment or size of the document, this is unfortunately not so easy with Canva.
- Free app: In the free Canva app, you do not have the option to change the size of the document afterwards. The alternative in this case is to create a new document and copy the elements from the old design into it.
- Pro-App: If you have a Canva Pro subscription, you can use the “Magic Switch” function to change the aspect ratio of the document.
- Go to “Change size ☻ Custom size”. Enter the new values here and confirm the change.
- With the “Magic Switch” function, you also have the option of converting your document via “Convert to other formats”, for example into a summary as a blog article or an e-mail.
