Paramount+: What you should know about the streaming service

We have compiled the information we already know about the Paramount+ streaming service, which will be launched on 08 December 2022. There’s a special surprise in store for Sky subscribers

Paramount+: All info on the new streaming service

Paramount+ is already available in some European countries such as the UK and Ireland. Since 08 December 2022, the streaming service is now also available in Germany.

  • You can receive Paramount+ not only via Android and iOS, but also on smart TV and game consoles.
  • The monthly subscription costs €7.99 per month, the low-priced annual subscription costs €79.90 per year (approx. €6.66 per month). For Sky Q customers and Sky Cinema subscribers, the service is included free of charge in the packages.

Paramount+: What’s on the streaming service

Total, expect more than 10,000 hours of movies and series on Paramount+.

  • Integrated content will definitely include content from Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, MTV, Paramount Pictures and Showtime.
  • Content already announced includes series Dexter, PAW Patrol, The First Lady, Yellowstone and Yellowjackets.
  • A particular highlight is Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. The new series will run exclusively on Paramount+. It is also expected that all popular content from the Star Trek franchise, such as Picard, will soon only be available to stream on Paramount+.
  • The German series “The Sheik” and “The Thin Line” are also to be included.
  • There will also be the game adaptation “Halo” and “Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Childhood”. “South Park” is also part of the subscription.
  • Movies are not neglected either, of course. Film series such as “Mission: Impossible”, “Scream” or “Transformers” will be available.
  • Paramount’s classics also include, for example, “Titanic”, “Forrest Gump”, “Braveheart”, “Indiana Jones” and “The Godfather”.
