Windows 10 offers a good way to open several windows at the same time on one screen with the split screen. You can decide for yourself whether you want to open one or up to four windows at the same time.
Open two windows side by side with Windows 10 Split Screen
You can easily open two windows side by side with a simple key combination.
- When you have an application open, click the key combinationWindows + an arrow key (left or right).
- The arrow key you press moves the current window to the selected place.
- For example, if you press the left arrow key, the open window will move to the left and you will see the other possible applications on the right side of the screen.
- Click on an application to open it on the right side of the screen.
Open and move multiple windows at the same time
Instead of two windows, you can also open three or four windows at the same time on one screen.
If you have two windows open side by side, click on one of the applications.
- If you now select the key combination Windows + arrow key (up or down) again, another slot will appear below or above your current window.
- You can do this with both sides of your screen.
- This way you can open up to 4 windows at the same time.
- You can also move individual windows by pressing the key combination again.
