But what should you do if the Toniebox 2 suddenly stops working or won’t turn on at all? With these step-by-step instructions, you can solve many of the most common problems yourself and quickly send your child back on their listening adventure.
- Check the power supply: Make sure that the Toniebox 2 is positioned correctly on the charging station. The LED light indicates the charge status; an orange light signals a low battery. Let the device charge for at least three hours, otherwise the built-in battery will not have enough power to start.
- Restart the device: A simple restart can fix many software problems. Turn the Toniebox upside down so that the “ears” are facing down, and press both ears simultaneously for at least ten to 30 seconds until you hear a sound signal. After restarting, the LED should light up green and the box should be ready for use.
- Check the connection to the charging station and charger: If the box is not charging, check the charging cable and charging station for damage. Also, try charging the box with a different power outlet or cable.
- Reset the Toniebox to factory settings: If the box still does not work, reset it to factory settings. To do this, connect the box to the charging station, turn it upside down, and press both ears for about ten seconds until you hear a sound.
