Android devices: How to empty the recycle bin
You can only empty the recycle bin in your Android phone via the Gallery app. There is no standalone recycle bin for other files on the phones.
– In the Android devices with a recycle bin, you can view the most recently deleted pictures in the Gallery app in the overview of albums under the three dots in the top right corner.
– If you click on “Edit”, you can select all the pictures that you want to delete permanently. You can also retrieve the images from the recycle bin in this way.
– If you leave the images in the recycle bin of the gallery, they will be deleted permanently after 30 days.
– After deletion, the images can no longer be found via a file manager or a recovery app.
