Deactivate Bixby: Remove voice assistant from Samsung

The voice assistant Bixby has its own button on your Samsung smartphone. To disable Bixby, you may need to update the app first. You can deactivate the function from version 2.0.03.3. However, it is currently not possible to delete Bixby.

• Press the Bixby button on your smartphone.
• At the top right of your display, you will see the Menu button. Tap it. Then select “Settings “
• First click on “Voice response” and select the option “Handsfree only “
• Set the “Auto Listen” function to “Never “
• Also turn off the automatic voice activation of Bixby
• Also disable both the “Use when phone is locked” and “Bixby dictation” options by unchecking each

Finally, you can set that the Bixby button must be pressed twice to activate Bixby. This reduces the risk of accidentally starting the function. To do this, click on “Bixby button” and select “Press twice to open Bixby ”
