Black Desert: Crossplay explained
The sandbox MMORPG Black Desert is available for multiple platforms.
- Crossplay is only available in limited form for these platforms. If you play the PC version, you cannot play with others on consoles.
- The PlayStation and Xbox versions, on the other hand, are compatible with each other. Console gamers can therefore play Black Desert together.
- The reason for this limitation is the game content. The console versions were released three years later (2019) than the PC version. The content is only being added slowly, which makes cross-play impossible
- This also applies to the mobile versions of Black Desert. iOS and Android players are completely limited to this variant.
- Note: Cross-save or cross-progression are not offered for Black Desert. For example, if you want to switch from PS4 to PC, you will have to start from scratch.
