Silk is an exclusive material in Graveyard Keeper that you need to improve the church quality
Graveyard Keeper: Silk in detail
Church quality is an important factor in Graveyard Keeper. Certain furniture such as the Soft Pew improves it. You need silk for this.
- You cannot produce silk yourself in the game. You can only find the fabric from the merchant, who is south of the tavern every Gluttony Day.
- The merchant sells you a bale of silk for one silver coin. You need two bales of silk for a soft church pew.
- You will also need eight wooden planks and four wooden structures for the soft pew. It will then be set up in the church
- Each soft pew increases the church quality by three points. The relatively low cost of the silk allows you to effectively improve the church’s rating.
- Note: The DLC Stranger Sins and Game of Crone expand the possible uses of silk. You can upgrade the tables in the tavern and build tents and warehouses for the refugee camp.
