Creating an account in League of Legends takes just a few steps. For the free registration, you need a valid e-mail address and you must be at least twelve years old.

To avoid errors when signing up for a new account in LoL, it is best to register a new player directly via the developer’s sign-up page.
- To do so, copy this link into your browser bar: https://signup.euw.leagueoflegends.com/de/signup/index.
- Select your region in the upper right area. For Germany, Western Europe (German) is the correct setting. For the English version of the popular action game, register in this area under EU West (English). Attention: The server cannot be changed later for free!
- Enter a valid e-mail address.
- Enter your date of birth. League of Legends is suitable for gamers aged 12 and over.
- Come up with an imaginative username.
- Protect your LoL account with a long password of at least 8 characters. It is best to use a combination of numbers, letters and special characters that you can remember easily.
- Finally, confirm that you have read the game rules and whether Riot Games may contact you at the email address you have entered.
- Log in and begin your League of Legends adventure.
- Good to know: You will receive a new registration email message. You do not have to confirm your e-mail address. However, you can only reach the support if you have validated the validity of the address by clicking on the link in the mail.
