Jewels in Lost Ark are essential to improve your abilities in the game. They are unlocked for use via certain quests.
Lost Ark: Unlock and farm jewels
You unlock jewels in Lost Ark via two quests that you get from level 50.
- Another requirement is an item level of 802. This is the tier 2 area. Afterwards you can accept and complete the quest “The Final Report” in the Grand Fortress in Yorn.
- After this quest, you need to complete the squad quest “[Guide] The Power of the Jewel”. Now you can find and use jewels.
- To farm jewels in Lost Ark, go to a Chaos Dungeon. You will receive a large number of jewels with each run.
- You can get significantly more jewels by doing a Boss Rush. Alternatively, you can complete Chaos Gates to loot jewels.
- Another option is to complete daily and weekly tasks. Check the description of the tasks and look out for the jewels.
Fuse and equip jewels in Lost Ark
To use the jewels in Lost Ark, you must first fuse them.
- To do this, go to the inventory and you will find a button with a jewel pictured. Click on it and you will be taken to the menu for fusing.
- To fuse jewels, you must use three lower level ones to reach a higher level. Three level two jewels become one level three jewel. The type of jewel does not matter, the bonus is re-rolled when fusing.
- If you don’t like the effect of the finished jewel, visit a jeweller. You can have a new effect rolled out for a fee.
- You don’t have to worry about possible failures. The fusion will always succeed. In the same menu you will also find an option to automatically fuse certain jewels.
- You can equip the respective jewel by right-clicking on it. You cannot stack the jewels, which is something to keep in mind when planning a build.
