Minecraft: Crafts scaffolding – this is how it works

Crafting a scaffold in Minecraft is a simple way to quickly and easily erect structures at great heights.

Since late 2018, Java version 1.14 and Bedrock version 1.8.0.8 have included scaffolding in Minecraft. For six scaffolds you need a total of six bamboo poles and a thread. Place the latter in the upper centre of the workbench. On the left and right, position three bamboo poles each.

• You can get the bamboo poles by mining bamboo in a bamboo jungle, for example.

• Yarns are mainly obtained by killing spiders. However, with the enchantment “Cautiousness” you can also mine spider webs from caves, for example.
