Pokémon Revolution Online (PRO) focuses primarily on multiplayer as a fan game so that trainers can play together.

• It is offered for various platforms from Windows to Android and uses a specially created user interface. It is reminiscent of other MMOs and is equipped with a persistent chat that can be used for trading. A private messenger is also available.

• PvP is available in individual duels against other trainers or over entire tournaments. PvP wins reward you and it is possible to climb up the leaderboard. The top 25 of the month in PRO receive special rewards, which keeps the competitive spirit in the game at the top.

• PvE is also offered via story and special enemies that have it all. The game does not follow the official Pokémon games, but is based on them.

• Players can trade Pokémon and items with each other. They can create their own avatar and form guilds with other players to expand their circle of friends in the game or find certain Pokémon and trade them with each other.

• Public and private events are held. Events range from PvP tournaments to farming events to catch Pokémon with the stats you want.

Pokémon Revolution Online features its own storyline compared to classic Pokémon hacks, taking place in four regions and a variety of new areas.

• Pokémon from the first seven generations, i.e. from the Blue and Red Editions to Sun and Moon, are offered. Whether the eighth and ninth generations will be added is not known at the current time (August 2023).

• In addition to the regions of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh, the developers offer several additional areas that feature quests, trainers and more alongside the main story. Players can advance to become regional champions.

• The battle system relies on the classic Pokémon formula with IVs or the Essence. This allows you to customise your team.

• The legendary Pokémon of the first four generations can be caught in the corresponding region.

• Movement is possible via Pokémon mounts and bicycles. The flying ability cannot be used outside of battle, but an extensive transport system for longer distances is offered.

• Breeding Pokémon is not possible in PRO. Since this is a multiplayer game, this mechanic has been removed by the developers.
