In V Rising, you use iron ore as a material to improve your equipment and castle. For this reason, it is essential to reach a high level and become significantly stronger.
Mine Iron Ore in V Rising
Iron ore is an essential material in V Rising to upgrade your equipment and castle. Iron ore awaits you in two areas of the game world:
- Three more units can be found in the Cursed Forest. For this area you should have an equipment level of at least 55.
- Iron ore in V Rising is mined with Merciless Copper Weapons. It does not matter which one it is. You can get the recipes for the Merciless Copper Weapons either from defeated enemies or from the research table.
V Rising: Smelt found iron ore
Once you have mined iron ore in V Rising, you must melt it down for use. You will then receive iron ingots that are suitable for numerous upgrades.
- To smelt iron ore, you need the smelting furnace for your castle. Furthermore, you need the recipe for iron ingots. You can get it from the boss V-Bloodbearer (level 37), who is located in the north of the Farbane Forest.
- Equip your castle with a smelting furnace to produce an iron ingot from 20 units of iron ore. If you improve the smelting furnace, you can reduce the material costs to 15 units of iron ore.
