How to reset your password for the Acer tablet

To be able to use your Acer tablet again, you must first reset your Google password and generate a new one:

• Go to the Google “Forgot password” page

• Select “Forgot password”, enter your email address and confirm with “Next”.

• Then click on “Yes, continue” and “I don’t remember”.

• If you have saved the phone number of your smartphone in your profile, you can receive the reset code by phone call or text message. Alternatively, click on the “I cannot access my phone” button.

• If your Google account is only linked to a Gmail address, you will have to answer a security question or confirm further personal details.

• If, however, your account is registered with an e-mail address that is independent of Google, or if you have left an alternative e-mail address in your account, Google will now send you a message to this address. The email will contain a link to reset your password
