You can switch off subtitles on Amazon Prime if you don’t need the texts. We will explain how to do this in this practical tip.
Amazon Prime: How to turn off the subtitles
- Recall a foreign language movie or series. You can read how to watch films or series in English in another practical tip.
- As soon as the film or series loads, click on the speech bubble in the top right-hand window. A distinction is made there between subtitles and audio. If you are using the “Amazon Fire TV”, press the “Menu” button on the remote control and select “Switch off subtitles”.
- In the “Subtitles” entry, select “Off”.
- Now you have switched off the subtitles and can enjoy the film in the original sound without subtitles.
