Amazon Prime Video: Forgotten PIN – what to do?

You can restrict access to certain content with a Prime Video PIN. This is useful, for example, if children also use your Prime Video account. If you have forgotten the PIN, this is annoying but also easy to fix:

• On the Amazon homepage, hover your mouse over “My Account” in the top right-hand corner and then click on “My Prime Video”.
• Select the tab “Parental Control” and you will see the page where you can reset the PIN.
• At this point, click on “Change” next to “Prime Video PIN”. Now enter your new PIN.
• Finally confirm by clicking on “Save”.
