- To check if the Rockstar game service is currently unavailable, take a look at this page.
- If the game service here is set to “Online”, the problem may be with you.
- On your console, you should therefore perform a connection test in the “Network Settings” to ensure that your console is properly connected to the Internet.
- Generally, we recommend that you connect the console to the Internet via LAN cable.
- Also check if a firewall is activated in the router and deactivate it if necessary to avoid further server problems.
- In many cases it helps if you can unblock the correct ports in the PS4 as well as in the XBOX One. For GTA Online you need the following ports: TCP: 80, 443 & UDP: 6672, 61455, 61457, 61456 as well as 61458.
- Often it can be enough to disconnect the router from the mains for 10 seconds and then try again.
