Porn sites: Which are safe and legal?
Porn sites usually advertise not that they are legal and safe, but that they are free.
- There are millions of porn sites on the internet, but only a few of them are legal.
- You are only on the legally safe side if you purchase the corresponding videos, not if you stream them on well-known German and American provider sites. If you have to pay for the content, you can assume that the website also owns the rights to the video material.
When streaming is illegal
The streaming of any series, films and other videos is punishable in Germany since the ruling of the European Court of Justice (ECJ) on illegal portals.
- For a long time, it was a grey area if you as a user used illegal streaming platforms. This applies not only to films and series, but also to pornography. In the meantime, the deliberate streaming of content that is actually chargeable is punishable by law.

- The question with many websites is rather how high the proportion of illegal content is. Similar to Kino.to, the providers merely link the videos and are therefore not liable themselves.
- Free and 100 percent legal content are two factors that you rarely find on porn sites. Look for reputable providers like big7.com, Fundorado or Amateurcommunity to be on the safe side.
- In addition, look for seals from associations such as ASACP or RTA at the bottom of the website. Such websites voluntarily register for website filters to prevent children from coming into contact with porn sites.
Surf porn sites anonymously: Here’s how
For most users of porn sites, it is desirable to surf undetected and safely. With these tricks you can increase your anonymity:
- Tracking features allow the browser to track your activities, such as downloads, search terms or websites visited.
- For this reason, use the incognito mode. In incognito mode, you can remain anonymous during your session on porn sites, and any data collected will not be stored on your computer or laptop.
- Press Ctrl-Shift-N for incognito mode in the Chrome browser, select the shortcuts Ctrl-Shift-P for an InPrivate window in Microsoft Edge or Ctrl-Shift-P for private mode in Firefox.
