TikTok Wrapped presents you with a comprehensive review of the year. As the app does not provide this itself, you will need a workaround
TikTok Wrapped: Request data for the annual review
You can only get your annual review via a detour. To do this, you must first request your TikTok data:
- Open the TikTok application and go to the menu. You can access it via the three dashes or three dots, depending on whether you are using the smartphone app or web application:
- Select Settings and privacy and then Account. You can make numerous account settings via this menu item.
- Navigate to the Download your data option. Then click on the Request data tab at the top. You can then choose between the file formats TXT and JSON
- To receive your data for TikTok Wrapped, select JSON. Then request your data. Depending on the volume, this may take several days
- Don’t worry, you don’t have to leave the app open for this. TikTok requests the data in the background and then makes it available for you to download.
- Once the data package is ready, navigate to the Download your data menu item again. Then click on Download data to get the JSON file. You will need this for your TikTok Wrapped.
Create TikTok Wrapped: Instructions
Once you have your TikTok JSON data, let’s move on:
- Then visit the TikTok Wrapped page of vantezzen. Look for the I have my TikTok data export, let’s go! button and click on it.
- After that you have to select and upload your JSON files. These are a .zip file that you do not need to unzip.
- Wrapped for TikTok now reads the required data from the JSON files. After a short time you will receive your TikTok Wrapped.
- Important: Do not close the page during creation, otherwise you will have to start all over again.
