Easy and fast: Update your Firefox browser to the latest version

The easiest way to update your Firefox browser is on your PC.

• Start Firefox on your PC and click on the menu button at the top right of the browser.

• Click on the “Help” category at the bottom and select the “About Firefox” option there.

• Firefox will now check for available updates. This process may take a few seconds.

• As soon as an update is available, it will be downloaded automatically. Click on “Restart to complete update” to restart the browser and thus install the update.

Update Firefox App for iOS & Android

If you use Firefox not only on your computer but also on your smartphone or tablet, you should always use the latest version there too.

• Unlike on a PC, the app cannot update itself. You can only install updates via the respective app store.
• To do this, open the “Play Store” on Android or the “App Store” on iOS. In the “My apps and games” (Android) or “Udpates” (iOS) section, you can now check whether an update is available. If so, you can install it directly.
