Vodafone Hotline: Contacting customer service

by Johannes

In this practical tip, we explain how you can reach the Vodafone hotline customer service by phone or contact them by email or via WhatsApp. The Vodafone hotline is manned 24 hours a day.

Vodafone Hotline: Contact customer service

  • Hotline: If you have a mobile or DSL contract with Vodafone, you can simply call the hotline from the Vodafone network using the number 1212. From all other networks, call the free phone number 0800 172 1212.
  • If you’re on a CallYa tariff from Vodafone, contact customer services on 0172 229 0 229. The hotlines are always manned around the clock.
  • From abroad, you need the appropriate area code for the hotline. Dial +49 172 12 172 12 for the general service, and +49 172 229 0 229 for the CallYa service. Please note that there are additional costs for calls from abroad.
  • If you would like advice on or to order products, contact the appropriate hotline directly. They will help you on 0800 444058 3669 from Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 20:00 and on Saturdays from 09:00 to 17:00.

Vodafone: Contact customer service via WhatsApp and email

  • Contact form: On the following website of Vodafone you will find the contact form. Here you can select your problem and then formulate it in writing.
  • The contact form is particularly suitable if you don’t feel like waiting in a queue for a long time. However, in many cases you will wait until the next day for a reply.
  • WhatsApp: It’s even quicker via WhatsApp. Simply text 0172 1217212 or call the number. After the call, you will receive a message directly from customer service on WhatsApp.
  • First a chat bot, i.e. a computer, takes care of your request. Simple requests are handled automatically. For more complex problems, your message will be forwarded to a staff member who will get back to you on WhatsApp after a few minutes to hours.
  • Email: Vodafone’s email address is: impressum@vodafone.com
  • Tobi: Vodafone also provides the customer service ChatBot Tobi, through which you can try to resolve your concerns.
  • Forum: Alternatively, you can check out the customer forum or the help section. Many problems have already occurred with other customers and have been successfully solved.
