Udon noodles are delicious, low-calorie wheat noodles from Japan that you can use in many different recipes. We’ll show you one of these recipes in our article.
Recipe for Stir-Fried Udon Noodles with Vegetables
- First, wash the vegetables and chop them into small pieces.
- Now heat up your wok or skillet and add the peanut oil. Sauté the carrots, then add the finely chopped chili pepper and garlic, and let everything sizzle for about one minute.
- Next, add the ginger and mushrooms and let everything stir-fry together briefly.
- Then add the udon noodles and let everything stir-fry for about two minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Your noodles are now ready. Sprinkle the sesame seeds and green onions on top when serving. In the next chapter, we’ll also show you a delicious peanut sauce that pairs perfectly with this dish.
Delicious and Quick Peanut Sauce
- First, finely chop the garlic clove.
- Then, add the peanut butter, honey, curry powder, chili powder, broth, and garlic to a pan and mix everything together well.
- Bring everything to a boil over medium heat.
- When the sauce thickens, it’s ready and can be enjoyed with delicious udon noodles.
