Pokémon Go Teamplay gives you the opportunity to experience special adventures together with other players.

With Pokémon Go Teamplay, you can work together with your family, friends in groups to complete new challenges.

  • The feature allows you to form teams with a maximum of four players. The feature is available from level 15.
  • Pokémon Go Teamplay focuses on the team challenges. These are a variety of adventures that you can experience together. Meanwhile, the avatars of all players will be displayed on the map.
  • These include, for example, catching certain Pokémon or participating in Raids. Upon completion of a challenge, all team members will receive corresponding rewards.
  • In raid battles, teams receive the so-called Team Power, whose loading time depends on the number of party members. It is used to double the damage of charge attacks.
  • Pokémon Go Teamplay offers a comprehensive activity overview. For example, it informs the team about the Pokémon they have encountered. You can even share the results.

Create groups with Pokémon Go team play

Essential to Pokémon Go Teamplay is forming a group. You can join a team or host it yourself as long as the other players are nearby.

  • To join a team, open your coach profile. Then navigate to the Team option and select it.
  • Now select Join Team. Either enter numeric code of the host or scan the QR code to join the group.
  • Once the host starts the session with the team, you will be added to the group. After that you can search for Pokémon together or fight against other game ends together.
  • It is similarly easy to host a team. To do this, click on the Create option in the Team menu.
  • You will then receive a QR and number code that you can share with up to three other players. Then click Start to form the team.
