There are several mods for Spider-Man Remastered that you can install. In addition to changing figure models, you can also shorten loading times.
Spider-Man Remastered: How to install mods
The easiest way to install mods is via the “Spider-Man PC Modding Tool”:
- The program “Spider-Man PC Modding Tool” was created by the user jedijosh920 and can be found on the platform Nexusmods. There you can easily download it for free.
- But before you install mods, you should back up the original version of your game. To do this, duplicate the folder called “archives_asset” in your game’s folder and back it up on your computer.
- Then you can open the “Spider-Man PC Modding Tool” and select “convert assets archives” in the top bar under “Tools”. This process can take a few minutes, but only needs to be carried out once.
- Once the conversion process is complete, you can use the programme to add or remove mods as you wish. To do this, you must be in the modding tool and select “Install Mods” in the top bar. There you can then find your downloaded mods and install them with a click.

- New Suits: Mods such as Spider-Man No Way Home Final Swing Suit allow you to change the look of Spider-Man’s suit. For example, designs from the existing feature films are recreated for the game.
- Change figures: Figure models can also be swapped out. The mod “Better and Mature Peter” gives Peter Parker an older appearance. Details such as wrinkles, eye rings and a three-day beard are added.
- Customise environment: To make New York’s Timesquare feel more real in the game, you can use the Real Brands and Ads Revamp mod to display real brands and ads on the screens. Since the game is set in 2018, the ads are also selected from that time.
- Swing Speed: With the “Swing Mod” you can increase the speed at which you swing through the city. This speed is adapted from the end sequences of the Spider-Man feature films.
- Quick start: If you want to start your game faster, you can install the mod “Remove Introduction Start-up Video”. This removes the intro videos that are played at the beginning and thus shortens the loading time.
