TomTom: Changing the language – this is how it works

If you have set the language on your TomTom incorrectly or would like to change it for other reasons, you can carry out the process directly on the navigation device. You do not need to connect to a PC to make this change.

Note: Depending on the device, some of the following steps may differ slightly in description and order.

• Turn on your TomTom navigation device and press the screen to open the menu.
• Select the “Settings” or “Options” category and then “Language” or “Language and units”.
• Now search for the desired language, select it and finally confirm the change
• Now the complete menu appears in the selected language. The TomTom will now also speak to you in this language.
• You can undo the change at any time by following the same procedure.
