If films and series on your Fire TV Stick are too loud or quiet, you need to adjust the volume. In this practical tip, we explain how to do this with the Amazon Stick.
Amazon Fire TV Stick: Adjusting and adjusting the volume
You simply connect the Amazon Fire TV Stick to an HDMI port on your TV – as well as to the power – and the picture and sound are already being played back. It is not uncommon for the volume to be louder or quieter compared to other sources.
- However, you cannot change the volume on the Fire TV Stick itself. The reason: Since the stick does not work in isolation, but always in connection with a TV, Amazon assumes that the necessary settings can be made via the TV.
- So adjust the volume directly on your TV with your TV remote. If you are using an external sound system, you can also adjust the volume there (usually via the subwoofer).
- Also note that the output volume on the Fire TV Stick is not always the same. It can happen, for example, that Netflix is relatively loud, while the sound on Amazon Video or YouTube is too low. It is therefore quite normal that you have to adjust the volume depending on the app.
