You can receive IPTV channels on your Android TV without much effort. This guide shows you what you need to do this and how to proceed.
Android TV: Setting up IPTV – here’s how
Setting up IPTV channels on an Android TV is relatively simple.
- First, search for “IPTV M3U” on the Internet and download an M3U file for your preferred channels from a reputable site of your choice. For example, you can download a list of German channels here.
- On your Android TV you now need a file explorer. We recommend File Explorer. You should also download a player, such as VLC.
- Open the app and unzip the downloaded ZIP file until you have the actual M3U file.
- Then select the M3U file and open it with VLC. You can now conveniently receive all your stations here. To change the station, tap on the round playlist symbol at the top right.
