Samsung Galaxy devices: How to change the lock screen

In the settings of your Samsung Galaxy you will find the menu item “Lock screen”. There you can customise your lockscreen:

  • Lock screen type: Set whether you want to use a PIN, password or pattern to unlock your device.
  • In the Clock Style menu item, you can select the type and colour of the clock that is displayed on the lockscreen.
  • Widgets: Allows you to display certain applications, such as music or weather, on the lock screen.
  • Under Contact Information, you can store personal information to be displayed so that you can be contacted in case of loss.
  • Also decide with a toggle whether you want notifications to appear and enable shortcuts to access these apps directly from the lock screen.
