Bracken in Lethal Company: All you need to know about the deadly monsters

Lethal Company presents the Bracken, a dangerous monster that stalks the crew inconspicuously and kills individual members from the shadows

Bracken in Lethal Company: Hunters in the Dark

You may encounter the Bracken while searching for loot in Lethal Company. Also known as the Flower Man, this is a dangerous monster.

  • Bracken have a humanoid shape, completely shrouded in shadow with a skin color reminiscent of beet. Pointed spikes protrude from the sides, giving the Flower Man a creepy appearance. The most important feature, however, are the eyes:
  • This monster is a sneaky killer that uses the darkness. It sneaks up on crew members and observes them before murdering them from behind.
  • So keep an eye out in the complex for a pair of eyes in the shadows or a medium-sized dot on the radar. Radar boosters can also help here to cover a larger area.
  • Only one Bracken is spawned per complex and they do not leave it. The creatures have a favorite room to which they always return and carry off killed crew members. This room changes with every landing
  • Bracken have no preferred time of day and you can even encounter them right at the start of the day. It is important to check your surroundings to avoid the hunter.

Survive Bracken in Lethal Company

When you encounter the Bracken in Lethal Company, you need to be well prepared. Brute force rarely helps the Flower Man.

  • You can scare Bracken briefly and then flee if you look directly at them. However, do not hold eye contact for too long, otherwise the Flower Man will become even more aggressive
  • Ideally, another crew member can close a security door behind you or you can flee the complex. Bracken are aggressive, but do not chase for too long and it is possible to confine them.
  • Bracken survive a maximum of five hits with a shield or shovel. As a crew, you can theoretically finish off the Flower Man quickly if you make a sacrifice.
  • The teleporter also helps with a Bracken, of course, especially if a crew member is alone. The crew member in the ship can use the teleporter when the point on the radar approaches.
  • If the Bracken is killed, you no longer have to worry about him for the rest of the run. This also applies if you lock him up.
