If the laptop fan of the Asus A75V gets very loud, it can be helpful if you clean it. To do this, you have to open the device, which means that the warranty is void.

Clean the Asus A75V laptop fan: Open the unit

To even get to the fan, you need to unscrew your Asus laptop. As soon as you open the device yourself, the warranty expires. If you still want to disassemble the Asus A75V, we’ll show you how:

  • You will first need a small and at the same time anti-magnetic screwdriver, your hoover and cotton swabs.
  • Remove the battery and disconnect the laptop from the power supply.
  • Then turn the Asus A75V over and unscrew all the screws on the largest cover.
  • Once this is done, you will notice that the cover is not too easy to remove. Therefore, use your fingernails to trace the edge that is on the front of your laptop. This is also where you can see the small lights that provide information about the charging status, for example.
  • When you get to the said lights, you have to use a little more force to be able to pull the pins out easily. Proceed like this until you have successfully separated all the pins.
  • If the front part of the plate is ready to be pulled off, the rear one is stuck. For this reason, you need to push the rear part of the panel slightly forward and pull the front part slightly upwards. This will allow you to remove the cover without damaging it.
