Connecting an Xbox One controller with your PC
- In order to connect the Xbox One controller to the PC, you need a suitable MicroUSB cable. A wireless connection is not yet possible, but according to Microsoft it will be established in the future.
- Connect the controller to your PC and download the Xbox One controller driver to your PC. These are the official Microsoft drivers that replace the previously released unofficial drivers.
- Unzip the ZIP archive into a new folder. Start the file “xb1usb.11059.0.140526×86.msi” on 32-bit systems and the file “xb1usb.11059.0.140526×64.msi” on 64-bit systems. We show you how to find out which operating system you have in this article.
- Follow the installation wizard until the process is complete.
- You can then use the Xbox One controller on the PC.
