If you want to charge the Joy Con controllers on the Nintendo Switch, you can do so in several different ways. We’ll show you how to do it.
Nintendo Switch: Charge Joy Con Controller
- The easiest way to charge the Joy Con controllers is to mount them on the Nintendo Switch and plug the Switch into a power outlet. This will charge the Nintendo Switch and the controllers at the same time.
- Without connection to the socket, the Joy Con controllers are also charged on the Switch. However, this is only the case when the controllers have only little battery left. The controllers will then only be charged to a maximum of half their capacity.
- Alternatively, you can play with a Joy Con charging cradle. Plug the cradle into the Switch’s power supply and the controllers will charge.
- If the controllers are completely empty, it takes around 3 hours and 10 minutes for the battery to fill up again.
