If you want to reset your Sonos Move, it only takes a few simple steps. The reset can be useful, for example, if you are selling the speaker.
Resetting the Sonos Move – here’s how to reset it
Resetting the Sonos Move works a little differently than resetting the Sonos One.
- To reset the Sonos Move to factory settings, remove the speaker from its charging cradle.
- Turn off the speaker by pressing and holding the power button for five seconds. You can tell if the device switches off by an acoustic signal and the fact that the status LED goes out.
- Now press and hold the Connect button while turning on the unit. If the Sonos Move battery level is too low to start, place it on the charging stand while holding down the Connect button.
- Hold down the connection button until the indicator flashes orange and white alternately.
- Release the connection button. The speaker is reset when the LED is green.
