Setting up Samsung Galaxy Buds: here’s how
With the following steps you can set up your Galaxy Buds easily and quickly.
- If you don’t have a Samsung smartphone, you’ll need to install the Galaxy Wearable App first.
- You also need to turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone. To do this, go into the settings and activate it under “Connections”.
- Now place the Galaxy Buds in the charging case and check if the battery indicator lights up. If this is not the case, charge the charging case including the Buds for 10 minutes with the USB-C cable supplied.
- After that, open the charging case.
- On Samsung smartphones, a pop-up should now appear showing the Galaxy Buds. Tap “Connect” to continue.
- On other smartphones, you need to open the Galaxy Wearable App and click on “Galaxy Buds”. Now you can search for your Galaxy Buds and then select them.
- Now you still need to accept the terms of use to complete the setup.

To make sure the Galaxy Buds fit properly and stay firmly in your ear, you can make a few adjustments.
- Because in addition to a charging cable, other attachments in different sizes are also included.
- You can change both the ear pads and the stabiliser by simply removing them and inserting the new ones.
- This allows you to customise everything according to the size and shape of your ears.
- When wearing and adjusting, make sure that the stabilisation sits in the ear cup.
- This is easily achieved by first moving the buds to a comfortable position when inserting them and then turning them backwards to place the stabiliser in the ear cup.
Samsung Galaxy Buds: These are the most important functions
In the Galaxy Wearable app, you can use settings and features to get the most out of your Galaxy Buds.
- So you can find the equaliser right on the home screen, which you can activate by clicking on the circle.
- Use the slider to change the equaliser to other positions and, for example, make the sound of your buds bass-heavy or clear.
- You can also set whether and which notifications should be read while you are wearing the Galaxy Buds.
- You can also change the functions of the touchpad under “Touchpad”. You can then use it to adjust the volume or trigger a voice command.
- Under the entry “Ambient sounds”, you can hear sounds from your surroundings better and also activate a voice focus to be able to understand the people around you better.
- Finally, you can turn on a search function under “Find my Buds” where your Buds make loud noises. This can be especially helpful if you can no longer find one or both of your buds.
