If your Toniebox is too quiet, check the volume settings – you can do this either via the app or on the manufacturer’s website.
Toniebox too quiet: Check the maximum volume
The volume of the Toniebox can be adjusted via the figure’s ears. If you have reached the highest volume there and the box is still too quiet, this may be because the maximum volume of the device is set too low. To change the maximum volume, proceed as follows:
- First switch off the Toniebox. If there is a Tonie on the box, take it down:
- Go to the manufacturer’s website and log in or use the mytonies app.
- Open the menu and search for the “Tonieboxes” tab. Select the corresponding Toniebox
- The set maximum volume is then displayed. You can change this by clicking on it – you can choose between 25 percent, 50 percent, 75 percent and 100 percent.
- Make sure that the Toniebox is within Wi-Fi range and switch it on.
- Press one of the two ears on the box for about three seconds. The Toniebox will give you an acoustic signal as soon as the setting synchronization starts.
- While the Toniebox is synchronizing and resetting the maximum volume, the LED on the top of the box lights up blue.
- You can tell that synchronization is complete when the LED lights up green.
- Tip: If you have changed the maximum volume, check how loud the Toniebox can now get before your children play with it. This will ensure that it is not too loud all of a sudden
