How to connect Tradfri with Hue

Before you can make the connection, you first need compatible Tradfri bulbs. Look for a batch number that is greater than 1721. If you have difficulties with this, it is best to ask a member of staff. You will also need a Philips Hue Bridge set up and the Hue app on your smartphone or tablet.

• Once you have the necessary equipment, reset the Tradfri bulbs by switching them on and off 6 times. The reset was successful if the bulbs lit up brightly for a moment.

• Open the settings in the Hue app and there the bulb settings. Press the “Add” icon (plus), which is located at the bottom right, and find one of the reset Tradfri bulbs.

• Once you have found it, give it a name and the bulb is added.
