If you want to set up call forwarding on your Google Pixel 8, there are two different methods you can use.

To set up call forwarding to your new Google Pixel 8, follow these steps:

  • Unlock the smartphone and switch to the phone application. You will find this via the green handset symbol.
  • Within the app, you will find three dots in the upper right corner, which will lead you to the further settings. Within the settings, select “Calls “
  • Navigate to the “Call forwarding” item and click on it. Then find the option “Voice call” and select it.
  • There you can choose the type of call forwarding you want for your Google Pixel 8. For example, you can always forward calls or use a different variant.
  • Now you need to enter the call forwarding number. Confirm and the call forwarding is activated.

Set up call forwarding on the Google Pixel 8 using codes

Alternatively, you can use call forwarding via MMI codes. To do this, you only need to place the appropriate code including the country code +49 for Germany in front of the desired phone number.

  • To divert all calls to your Google Pixel 8, enter **21*[phone number]
  • To activate call forwarding only when you do not answer the call, enter **61*[call number]
  • If you are not available, you need the code **62*[call number] to deactivate this call forwarding again.
  • Further, you can use the code **67*[call number]
  • You can deactivate all codes at once by using the code
