It is possible to have a return collected from Amazon for large items. You can only have a parcel collected in exceptional cases. We’ll tell you everything you need to know about collecting returns.
Amazon returns pick-up – only possible for large appliances
Unfortunately, you can only have large appliances collected from Amazon. You will need to make an appointment.
- Open Amazon and click on “Returns and orders” in the top right-hand corner.
- Find the item you want to return and enter a reason for the return.
- For many items, you can now set a date for collection via the calendar. If this option does not appear, you can also contact the transport service by phone for a collection appointment.
- Once you have made an appointment, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. The collection is of course free of charge and you do not need to print out a return label.
Have parcels collected: via Amazon customer service
For parcels, the pick-up service is not available. However, you can contact Amazon Customer Service to request a pickup. Please note that up to a certain parcel size, Amazon’s pick-up service is only a goodwill gesture. The service could therefore also be refused in some cases.
- To contact customer service, open Amazon, click on the menu on the left and select “Customer Service”.
- Click the “Contact Us” button in the bottom right corner.
- Then select the item “We can call you” and on the next page mark the item you want to have picked up.
- On “Please select a subject”, click on “How to return an item?”. To connect with a staff member, click on “Phone. “
- Then enter your number where you would like to be called and select “Call me now”. After a short time, a staff member should get back to you and you can describe your problem.
